Patch 0.9.0 - Midterm & Second Term Elections and Steam Summer Sale
Includes the option for an Easier path forward
Hello and thanks to everyone for participating in Mr. President’s Early Access! As Steam Summer Sale arrives (June 25 - July 9) we have a game update with new features and content.
Midterm Elections and Reelection have been added to the game to allow you to win over Congress and extend your game to 8 years, if you can convince the voters. At game start there’s also an option to use an easier variant that should ease some of the challenges of your term in office. We’ve also added more Crisis Event, Cascading and Terrorism cards for more variability in the gameplay.
Please continue to report any bugs you find in either our Steam Forums or on the Discord. We check in there often and really appreciate your help! Now on to the new features with 0.9.0:
New Features
Initial “Easier” game mode added with some gameplay tweaks to make success more likely.
Midterm Election added at the end of Turns 2 & 6 to enable Congress changing party control.
The potential for re-election added to the end of Turn 4, but make sure you have your party’s support in order to be nominated!
